I. Home Sweet Home




“There once was a young girl at odds with the world. She had large, soulful brown eyes that thirsted with curiosity, set deeply in a round, childish face with a tiny, upturned nose and a sweet mouth always inquisitive or pursed in query of something unfamiliar. But, alas, she was not her father’s child, and so lived in a tiny hut set apart from that of the family, which suited her just fine because she was a tiny child and it was just her size, and the lock kept out those would-be interferers of the stories she dreamt up in her mind…”
